The S5II gives you freedom to create content in more formats than other leading models. The camera is capable of delivering 6K full sensor recording and up to 30p, it also allows for various aspect rations such as 3:2, 17:9, 16:9 and 9:16 making it the ultimate camera for the modern content creator.

The first LUMIX mirrorless camera to feature a 24.2MP CMOS sensor with on-sensor Phase Detection. S5II is also the first camera to feature the L² image processing unit.
Phase Hybrid AutoFocus
The new Phase Hybrid Autofocus is fast, accurate and continuously tracks the subject, meeting the demands of modern content creators. The LUMIX S5II has you covered even in the most challenging situations such as low-light and backlit scenes.
Smooth Stabilisation with Active I.S. Technology
The new Active I.S. Technology lets you capture steady handheld shots while walking or running, without the need for a gimbal. The new system automatically compensates for a wider range of camera shake resulting in up to 200%* improvement. *Compared with LUMIX S5. Focal length 20mm, when using S-R2060.
Heat management for unlimited recording time
The LUMIX S5II retains its compact size with a fan mechanism concealed behind the viewfinder. The new optimised heat dissipation enables continuous recording* even when shooting in high frame rates and intensive codecs. *The camera may stop recording when used in a temperature that is lower or higher than the recommended operating temperature (0 to 40 degrees). Recording stops when the continuous recording time exceeds 30 minutes in [6K/29.97p] [6K/25.00p] [5.9K/29.97p] [5.9K/25.00p] when Thermal Management mode is set to Standard.
Stunning still & moving images
The brand new image processor in the S5II allows for true-to-life colours, outstanding resolution with minimal image noise in low light environments. The Dual Native ISO sensor captures more dynamic range in both photos and videos even in any light.
Your presets with REAL TIME LUT
LUMIX S5II gives you the ability to add your favourite LUTs directly into the camera. Get a stylised look instantly without the need to edit your photos and videos.
Tough body for a wide range of weather conditions
The camera can be used in a wide range of weather conditions. The durable magnesium alloy full die-cast frame and sealing of all joints, dials, and buttons make it dust- and splash-resistant*. *Dust- and splash-resistant does not guarantee that damage will not occur if this camera is subjected to direct contact with dust and water.

The LUMIX S series lens range delivers superior optical performance and are designed for photo and video use. Across the range, the lenses produce consistent colour and contrast and feature low focus breathing, smooth aperture control as well as silent autofocus.

Need more advance codecs? The S5IIX features high bit rate All-Intra, ProRes recording and RAW video output via HDMI. The USB-SSD recording gives the creator workflow advantages, as well as wired and wireless streaming for professional video production.
