*Micro Four Thirds interchangeable lens, 7-14mm Wide Zoom Lens / 14-28mm (35mm camera equiv.). Ultra wide angle.
A Super Small, Lightweight Wide Angle Zoom Lens
• Ultra wide-angle with 114゜ of diagonal angle of view at wide-end
• 2 aspherical lenses and 4 ED lenses for superb optical performance
• F4.0 brightness over the entire zoom range thanks to its large-diameter glass molded lens elements
• Contrast AF system support.
Tracking Focus in Video Recording
Tracking focus in video recording with silent auto focus and exposure control.
Continuous AF/AE function supports photos and movies. The firmware update to ver1.1 is recommended.

Aspherical lenses
These lenses prevent spherical and distortion aberrations, so higher magnification can be achieved with fewer lenses. Resulting in smaller size and weight, these lenses feature the high dimensional accuracy of Panasonic’s cutting-edge production technologies, including concave lenses that measure just 0.3mm at their thinnest part.

• 2 aspherical lenses
• 4 ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) lenses
Multi-coating Process
In addition to a standard broadband anti-reflection coating, Lumix G/Leica DG lenses reduce the reflection of light entering at an angle. Widely used on fisheye and ultra-wide-angle lenses, this coating greatly improves results when shooting against a light source, resulting in high quality images with superb clarity.
Extra-low Dispersion Lenses
Extra-low dispersion (ED) lens corrects longitudinal chromatic aberration in the zoom setting, and chromatic difference of magnification at the wide angle setting. The result is greatly reduced contrast degradation and colour bleeding, with both telephoto and wide-angle zoom lenses delivering sharp, high-contrast images with clear colours from corner to corner.
*light from the built-in flash may be blocked and cause shading areas in the picture, depending on the shooting conditions.
Due to the ultra-wide angle field of view (35mm camera equivalent: 14-28mm) peripheral vignetting may appear when the built-in flash is used.
